UNICEF implements Tedopres’ HyperSTE software for controlled authoring
April 22, 2010
UNICEF (United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund) provides long-term humanitarian and developmental assistance to children and mothers in developing countries. UNICEF's programs emphasize developing community-level services to promote the health and well-being of children.
The heart of UNICEF's work is in the field, with staff in over 190 countries and territories. More than 200 country offices carry out UNICEF's mission through a unique program of cooperation developed with host governments. Seven regional offices guide their work and provide technical assistance to country offices as needed.
As it is essential to communicate clearly and as efficient as possible in such as large organization, UNICEF selected Tedopres’ HyperSTE software. HyperSTE checks UNICEF information and ensures it complies with consistent use of terminology as well as grammar and style guide rules, so that information is written for a global audience.
Berry Braster, Sales & Marketing Director at Tedopres: "We are very pleased and honoured to welcome UNICEF as one of our new customers, and are looking forward to support them with their controlled language needs."
