To facilitate safety and the quality of its technical documentation, and to save translation costs, Elekta has selected Tedopres’ HyperSTE quality assurance software. As part of the implementation process, Tedopres assisted Elekta with the development of EASE (Elekta Approved Simplified English), the Elekta standard for unambiguous documentation, which will be deployed by Elekta Worldwide Product Support Centers in the UK, Sweden, Germany and the USA, including IMPAC Medical Systems, an Elekta company.
Says Berry Braster, Director of Tedopres, Inc., “We are pleased to welcome Elekta to our growing customer base of HyperSTE users, but are specifically proud of expanding the benefits of controlled authoring to the medical industry; the deployment of EASE will not only contribute to quality assurance and (translation) cost savings for Elekta technical documentation, but will result in clear communication and improved safety, a key aspect in the medical industry.”
