Mission Statement

It is Tedopres’ mission is to provide customers with the most innovative documentation, at the highest possible quality standards, and be able to continue playing a leading role in the future of documentation.

Vision

All information should be available to anyone at any point in time, in whatever requested format and in whichever language.

Tedopres Model

End users demand high-quality products, and therefore expect technical information to be directly available and crystal clear. Moreover, product development schedules are increasingly becoming shorter, thereby increasing the pressure on technical publication staff even more due to the time to market. Despite these issues, budgets to support technical publications are shrinking. In response thereto, organizations are focusing on creating technical information more efficiently.

Questions to consider in this regard:

• How easy is it for your product users to find product information?
• How well do your product users understand your information?
• Do you enable your product users to perform MRO (maintenance, repair, operation) activities efficiently, i.o.w. in a cost and time effective way?

In other words, how can we make the right information available to the right end user at the right time? In order to do, Tedopres applies the Tedopres Model, which observes the following requirements:

• Simplified Technical English, for clarity and consistency of the (English) source text.
• Simplified Technical Illustrations, to achieve single sourcing of high-quality (3D and 2D) illustrations.
• Single Sourcing, to maximize the reusability of content.
• Topic-based authoring, for consistent structure and content element codification.

History

Tedopres was founded in Dongen, The Netherlands, in 1974. The company started out as a technical illustration company. The Royal Dutch Army was one of our first customers.

Its functional office environment was significant for Tedopres' successful development, as it represented a no-nonsense, customer-oriented approach.

The number of activities increased rapidly and expanded towards user manuals, parts catalogues and training, installation and service manuals. Moving to a larger office building became necessary.

Since that time, Tedopres experienced a considerable growth in the number of orders and employees. Nowadays, Tedopres is proud of its leading role in its industry. From 1990 to 2006 we had our headquarters in the city centre of Tilburg, the Netherlands.

Tedopres is market leader in the development of content management services and solutions. Our experience in various industries is effectively used in the creation, management and publication of technical information. Dedication and motivation are significant for the well-functioning Tedopres organization.

Due to a continuous growth in the number of customers and employees we moved to Best in January 2006. Best is a suburb of Eindhoven, home to one of our long-term customers, Philips.
